one down, three to go
The funniest thing about the Superbowl? I’m not even going to be able to watch it. I will be picking my mother-in-law up from the airport exactly during the game. And from an airport that is an hour and a half away. Hilarious! I reminded Gerald that she is his mother, after all. But I was just kidding.
It doesn’t matter. It may be the only time in the history of the world that I Tivo something in order to watch the commercials.
Besides, it’s all about the hats anyway.
One is finished (mostly):
Since I took this picture I have changed the top shaping and woven in the ends. This one is for Maggie and it looks so darn cute on her I can’t even tell you. I think it needs pompoms.

After seeing Maggie’s hat, Jerry said his should be the same but red with blue letters, so that design is all set. That leaves eleven days to knit three more hats. I’m feeling pretty good about my challenge. Smug, really.
This hat is so money.

Oh! I can’t wait to see all the hats modeled, esp the one on Maggie. I bet it’s darling.
Money, yes; with pompoms, super money!
I feel like jumping around with pom poms!
You are my role model. And a very dutiful DIL. I want the family pic from the game.
Very cool!
I love it! It even reminds me a little of the old leather football helmets. It rocks.
Yes, pompoms!!!! I can’t wait to see it on her.
So friggin’ cute! Add pompoms!
