Today I’m not posting a picture. I’m also not going to keep it light, like I try to do here on my blog. It’s a sad and tragic day for my hometown of Clarence Center, NY. A plane crashed there last night, less than a mile from my parent’s home, killing all the passengers and one person on the ground.
As word trickles in about who perished, I am hearbroken…I really just don’t know what to say. My prayers are with those that lost a loved one.
Hugged the family really tight today. Hope you will do the same for all those dear to you.
mandy, hugs to you and your loved ones. i cried this morning while driving to work when i heard about it on the radio.
*hugs*
Two light aircraft collided yesterday very near to where I’m from in South Wales and the two pilots plus two teenage girls (who were cousins) were killed. The scale may be different but it’s still very shocking.
How tragic for you all. It must be devastating for all those families that have lost loved ones too.
That really is a terrible tragedy.
Hey Mandy — it’s devastating. Makes it so hard to not live close during times like these, when you just want to run and hug everyone in Clarence.
Mandy my prayers are with you and your family in Clarence Center. Here in Rochester, it is still the lead story even on Sunday.
I live in the city of Buffalo and it is shocking that something like this could happen.
We had a local girl on the plane. It’s so very sad, there are just no words for it.
have been thinking about you and your family
