My name is Mandy Powers, and I like to knit. I’ve been knitting since 2003, when my sister gave me some leftover yarn and aluminum needles to use. I soon discovered bamboo was much more my style, and I’ve been knitting like crazy ever since.

I prefer wool.

I have a husband (he is lovely, and rarely complains about all the yarn) and two kids (Jerry is 7, Maggie is 3). The kids are willing handknit models. The husband usually isn’t.
