The Celery Socks are knit from the toe up, using a short row garter stitch heel and toe. I think you’ll like this heel/toe construction so much that you’ll want to use it on all your toe up projects!  This pattern costs $6

Pattern Info

Finished Size: Pattern includes a range of sizes from 6.5″ to 9″ finished circumference (16.5 to 22.5 cm). Foot length is adjustable.

Yarn: Fingering weight yarn. Sample shows Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock Solid.

Needles: Set of DPNs in size US 0 (2 mm) or US 1 (2.5 mm) depending on desired finished size.

Gauge: 8 or 9 sts = 1″ (2.5 cm) depending on desired finished size.

Notions: size B (2.25 mm) crochet hook, 2 yds fingering weight waste cotton, coilless safety pin or split ring marker.
